3 Mouthwatering Turkey Burger Recipes

Today I’m sharing with you three mouthwatering turkey burger recipes that your family NEEDS to add to their grilling menu this summer. Summer is basically here, which means it’s time to amp up your grilling routine. I know my family tries to grill as much as possible during the warmer months. Since our family is currently living in Alaska, grilling normally isn’t an option during the Fall, Winter and most of Spring. Which means we have to take full advantage of the warmer days and longer nights by grilling as much as possible.

Lately, my husband loves to fire up the grill as soon as he gets home. There is something special about summertime that makes us want to spend as much time outside as possible. We like to make cooking a family affair, so while he waits on the grill he chases Madison or our two yellow labs while I prep dinner. Recipes like these Turkey Burgers or my favorite Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Ribs require just enough time to let my husband and daughter get some bonding time in before I join in on the fun!

While I love grilling as much as the weather will allow, I also love mixing up your dinner options. The same old recipes can get boring, which is why I’m positive that you will find these three turkey burger recipes just as mouthwatering and delicious as I do! These recipes all have a special twist that make them anything but boring.

Each Turkey Burger has the same secret ingredient. I know you’re going to be so shocked when I tell you what it is! The secret ingredient in each of these unique recipes is Reese Artichokes! In my opinion artichokes are seriously underestimated. Did you know that you can use Reese Artichoke to create a decadent pesto sauce, an addicting spinach and artichoke spread or a mouthwatering Mediterranean patty? Reese Artichokes are used to add a burst of flavor and deliciousness to each of these mouthwatering recipes.

Today, I’m going to help mix up dinner time and open up your taste buds to all the amazing possibilities!

The first recipe I’m sharing is a mouthwatering Caprese Cheese Burger. I seasoned my turkey patties with salt and pepper before grilling. Once grilled, this juicy turkey burger is topped with mozzarella cheese, spinach, tomatoes and a homemade artichoke-pesto sauce. The thought of homemade artichoke-pesto sauce only SOUNDS intimidating. It’s actually super easy!

To make the artichoke-pesto sauce all you need to do is add Reese Marinated Artichoke Hearts, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, walnuts and garlic to your food processor. Puree the ingredients and spread onto your bun.

This artichoke-pesto sauce is a great spread on sandwiches and wraps as well! I love to make a little extra to use later.

The Mediterranean Turkey Burger is such a fun, light and tasty meal!

For this recipe you add ground turkey, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, chopped spinach, feta, diced roasted red peppers and diced Reese Quartered Artichoke Hearts to a bowl and blend together. Once all the ingredients are well blended, you form your Turkey patties.

Place your patties in the refrigerator and allow them to chill. While your patties chill you can make your homemade tzatziki sauce! This tzatziki sauce is made with Greek Yogurt instead of sour cream, making it light on calories with all the taste. To make this add plain Greek Yogurt, diced cucumbers, dill seasoning, minced garlic and lemon juice to a bowl and mix until well combined. Place bowl in refrigerator to chill and take your patties out to grill!

After turkey patties are grilled, place on a bun and top with spinach, juicy tomatoes and homemade tzatziki sauce.

The third and final turkey burger recipe I’m sharing is a personal favorite of my husband. The best part about this recipe is that you are basically making both a meal AND an appetizer in one.

This recipe is for Spinach-Artichoke Dip Turkey Burger. You can make a dish of spinach-artichoke dip to snack on with your turkey burger or use as an appetizer for guests you may have over!

mouthwatering turkey burgers

Start off by making your spinach-artichoke dip. Preheat your oven to 425. Dice artichoke and spinach finely. You can add this to a blender and place it on a lower setting to do this. Add to a bowl with softened cream cheese, Greek Yogurt and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix well. Add to dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Put in oven to bake for 20 minutes.

Form your turkey patties and season with salt and pepper. Grill your patties and place on bun. Top with mozzarella cheese and spinach-artichoke dip. It’s okay to be greedy on put on a hefty helping! The combo is superb and will make your taste buds go crazy!

My favorite part about this meal is that it’s a multi-tasking meal. You can save the remaining dip to eat as a snack later or use as a appetizer to entertain guests.

You can’t go wrong with any of these three Turkey Burger recipes!
