4 Items Every Kid’s Easter Basket Needs

With each year that my daughter gets older, the holidays become more fun! Easter has been one of my favorite holidays for as long as I can remember. I love that it’s a holiday that always brought my family together growing up, but now it’s a holiday that I get to teach and share with my kids!

I think part of the reason I love Easter so much is that it’s like the unofficial beginning of the warmer seasons. Obviously, Spring is always before Easter – but when you live in New England, like I do, the beginning of Spring normally just means the end of winter. Easter has so many positive memories and feelings for me, but as a parent, I love Easter because I get to create an Easter Basket that will put a huge smile on my daughter’s face!

Gifts They Will Love

I don’t normally spend that much on my kids’ Easter Baskets, but I like to give them one gift that’s something they’d absolutely love. Madison, my four year old, absolutely LOVES PAW Patrol right now, so her gift was the PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Charged Up Transforming Vehicle and the Charged Up Deluxe Vehicles.

Madison absolutely loved these gifts! I had to give them to her a little early, because I just had to show you guys how excited she was! Chase’s Transforming Vehicle can drive in vehicle or hover mode. Madison prefers hover mode because everything is much more fun when you can fly! Another one of Madison’s favorites about the Transforming Vehicle is touching the button on top for the fun sounds and lights! She even said to me, “Mom, why doesn’t your car do this?” Good question, kid.

The Deluxe Charged Up Vehicles are equipped with lights, sounds and real castor wheels. The Charged Up Vehicles can even drift 360 degrees in any direction!

Madison is able to “save the day” with Chase and his Charged Up Transforming Vehicle! This vehicle makes a great gift for kids ages 3 and up.

Simple Gifts for Outside Play

I love to add in gifts like chalk or bubbles that we can use to play outside with. These are always fun to use together and are super affordable.

Spring Weather Gear

I love using a holiday as a reason to gift my kids with a new bathing suit, sun hats or even sunglasses to prepare for warmer weather.

Easter Eggs

Is it really Easter, if there are no Easter Eggs? I’m not really big on giving my kids candy, but I will add stickers and the occasional piece of candy in Easter Eggs and leave them in their baskets. This is always a surprise and so much fun for Madison to open!

When you’re buying for your kid’s Easter baskets, make sure to head to Walmart, Target or Amazon to check out their PAW Patrol products! Your little PAW Patrol fans will thank you!
