Building a business takes hard work. Whether you’re running an online business or a blog, there are certain things that you need to do to put your business on the track to ultimate growth. Since I took the plunge into blogging about a year and a half ago, I’ve learning a lot through trial and error. My mistakes are you gain though, because today I’m going to tell you about what you need to grow your own blog or business.

Laptop with Intel’s new 8th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor

I have a Dell 7000 with Intel’s new 8th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor. This computer is reliable, quick and has TONS of storage. There is 16GB of Ram and a 1 TB hard drive. While blogging I’m constantly downloading photos, videos and other programs to help my business. This was really slowing my old computer down.

I currently stay at home with my 2-year-old, who currently demands a lot of attention. I’m not normally able to work unless she’s napping or has gone to bed at night. Since I have a limited amount of time, I have to hustle with the time I do have. A new computer with an 8th Gen Intel® Core™ processor allows you to get things done fast and easy AND has unprecedented power and responsiveness that is vital in today’s fast-paced digital world. I don’t have the patience or the time to wait on a computer that is slow to respond, so the new 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor speaks my language.

Photo Editor

Find a photo editor that allows you to download, save and look back on previous work. Having crisp, beautiful photos is key for your business. This is what attracts customers and readers – and will continue to bring them back. One of my favorite features of the new 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor is that you can create, edit, and share immersive 4K, VR, and 360 content. The faster processor allows you to multitask to complete projects more quickly, easier all while having a more enjoyable completion of tasks. The computer I choose, the Dell 7000, actually has a touch screen that allows switching programs and zooming in SO much easier. This has helped improve and speed up my photo editing for my blog.

Social Media scheduler

As I said earlier, I’m a stay-at-home-mom. I don’t have time to manually schedule my social media posts. I’m in over 50+ group boards on Pinterest. To grow your Pinterest account you should be posting at least 30+ times a day. I currently have an unlimited package on a social media scheduler where I can schedule my Pinterest posts to automatically pin at certain times throughout the day. I’m currently pinning around 65 times a day. I could not even fathom doing this manually throughout the day. I love knowing that while I’m playing with my daughter or at the gym working out that my social media scheduler is helping grow my presence by doing the hard work for me.

The 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor once again is helping me kick up my social media presence by allowing me to get more done at a quicker speed. The touch screen helps me scan through documents (or my Pinterest account) more quickly. So I can find what I need in record time.

Accounting Program

Since I essentially work for myself, I’m responsible for paying my own taxes and tracking all of my expenses. I keep a spreadsheet that allows me to track what I made each month and what expenses I had. The touch screen gives me more control at my fingertips here by allowing me to swipe through old accounting spreadsheets quickly. I can also use Cortana voice command on the 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor as my own personal assistant. Cortona can pull up a document for me, check the weather or do a quick google search. Who needs to hire a Virtual Assistant? Not this girl. Thanks, Cortana.

The 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor is also more secure than ever. There is even a built in payment security feature that requires you to swipe your fingerprint when making purchase in order to help save you from identity theft. In addition the 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor also has stronger security against hacking. There is an automatic layer of protection built into the computer’s hardware that gives you more peace of mind when you boot up and provides fast data encryption to keep your information safe without slowing you down. Knowing that my personal and business information is safe gives me such a peace of mind.

Social Media Share Plugin

No matter what kind of business you have, this type of plugin is a must! Your customers and readers are going to want an easy way to share something that they like. If there isn’t a social media share option, more than likely your customer isn’t going to put in the effort to manually do it themselves. Americans are lazy! So we can help ourselves, by helping put a social media share right in front of their faces.

Media Kit

A media kit is a document compiled of information about your blog or business and social media following. This is essential for bloggers who want to collaborate with brands for sponsored posts. I can speak on my own behalf that I send mine out at least 10 times a week, if not more. I send it out to brands who I reach out to as well as those who reach out to me. This helps me back up my pricing to brands and give me credibility.

You can create your own media kit in a photo editor. The 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor allows syncing across multiple devices. Therefore I can have my media kit always available, no matter what device I’m using.

Visible E-mail on Website

In order to help potential customers or partners reach you to grow your business, you need to have your email visible on your website. I’d suggest having it visible on your homepage.

You can use the 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor to edit your website quicker than ever.

The Dell 7000 with 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor is an amazing tool in helping grow your blog or business. You can purchase your own at Best Buy! This will make an amazing Holiday gift for someone on your gift list or you may be up for an upgrade for yourself. This holiday season is the perfect time of year to treat yourself with a new laptop with the 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor.
