I always feel like it’s officially the Holiday season when Starbucks® Holiday themed flavors hit the shelves. The holiday themed flavors always remind me of getting together with my family and friends to celebrate my favorite time of the year. You can click on the image below to shop these delicious Starbucks® Holiday themed flavors!

As I’ve spoken about before, my husband is in the Coast Guard and we’re currently living in Alaska. Since we’re so far away from family, I have an amazing set of girlfriends who have become like my family. For this party, I have decorated and personalized coffee mugs to be paired with Starbucks® Holiday Blend Ground Coffee and Starbucks® Peppermint Mocha Ground Flavored Ground Coffee.

This is such a fun and easy tutorial, I couldn’t help but make a few extras for myself – and drink lots of delicious coffee in the process.

Coffee is something that always brings my friends and I together because well, we’re sleep deprived moms. I just know everyone will love the delicious  Starbucks® holiday-themed flavors and want some for themselves!

Luckily, there’s an awesome deal going on right now where you can purchase three qualifying Starbucks® packaged coffee, Starbucks® K-Cup® packs, VIA® Instant, Starbucks® Syrups, or Starbucks® Cookie Straw packs products in a single transaction at Walmart stores from 11/1/17 through 12/26/17 and receive 75 bonus stars when you upload your receipt at Starbucks-stars.com. You can find these in the coffee aisle of your local Walmart.

If you’re looking for a fun idea for a white elephant party or just want to decorate and personalize coffee mugs for yourself, this is a super easy and fun tutorial. And of course, you’ll get to drink all the Starbucks® holiday themed coffees you want out of your decorated mugs.

To make the personalized mugs you’ll only need a white coffee mug, large letter/monogram stickers, and an oil-based paint pen.

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, stick a large letter sticker on the coffee mug. I chose the letter “C” for our last name.

Then, use the tip of the oil-based paint pen to leave small dots around the letter. Make sure to “dot” closely to your letter. This is how you will outline the letter. Go Crazy! Put as many dots as you’d like and use several colors if you please. I used red, green and gold to make my mugs more holiday festive!

Then you’ll peel off the letter sticker. You can choose to either be finished at this step or color in your letter. I thought my mug still needed more pizazz so I used the gold oil based painter pen to fill in the letter “C”.

Place decorated mug on a cookie sheet and bake it in the oven for 40 minutes. Once the timer went off, I let the coffee mugs cool down completely in the oven. This took a few hours but helped set in the decorations.

TA-DA!

I absolutely love the way these turned out. I’m so excited for my girlfriends to use these with our delicious Starbucks® holiday themed coffees! The tutorial is so easy, I even decided to make a few more just for my husband and I.

Hurry up and bring home some of these amazing holiday-themed Starbucks® coffees for your holiday get-togethers.
