During the first football season that my husband and I dated, we had just moved in together. He was working nights and I was working days, so we NEVER saw each other. So we always tried to make the most out of our weekends and the time we did have together.
Matt is a huge Patriot’s fan and probably just one of the biggest football fans I’ve ever met in general. Since I was a supporting girlfriend who just wanted to spend time with my MIA boyfriend, we’d spend our Sundays watching football, hanging out and eating our weight in football food. We liked to call this “Fat Kid Sunday” and somehow the tradition and name have stuck around.
Even with a toddler running around, we still keep up our Fat Kid Sunday tradition. One of my favorite things to make (and eat) is Buffalo Chicken Dip.
This buffalo chicken dip recipe is loaded with delicious cheddar cheese, cream cheese, spicy buffalo sauce and ranch. No one that’s tried it can just take one bite.
I try to eat a low carb diet, so luckily this recipe for buffalo chicken dip is just as tasty with celery sticks as it is chips. This dip is one of the few foods that both my husband and I can agree on. This is a must-have for your next get together or football Sunday. I know it’ll be at ours!
