Add softened cream cheese, lime juice and lime zest to a bowl. Mix until well combined with a hand mixer.
Place mixture in refrigerator to chill while you make the crust.
Add 1/2 cup of crushed Nilla Wafers and 3 tbsp of Butter to a bowl and mix until well combined.
Pack mixture to bottom of jars to create the crust.
Take key lime mixture from refrigerator and add on top of crust.
Add crumbs from Nilla Wafer mixture
Top with dollop of whipped topping
Place finished Mini Key Lime Pie in a Jar in refrigerator to chill. These are best after chilled for 30 minutes, but can be eaten immediately!
