The weather in Kodiak this week has been so cold and rainy. I’m talking non-stop rain and 40 degree weather.  It’s been pretty miserable, but that’s just how the winter is here.

Quick and Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

This morning I woke up craving homemade chicken noodle soup. My mom would always make this on cold winter days when I was a kid, so making it is almost like bringing a little bit of “home” to Alaska.

Quick and Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

This homemade chicken noodle soup is savory and the perfect addition to a cold night or as a pick-me-up when you’re sick. You can even make a big batch and freeze it for when those sick days happen!

While this recipe is pretty easy to make, there is a secret ingredient that sets this homemade chicken noodle soup aside from the rest. Instead of using store bought chicken broth, you make your own using Better Than Bouillon Roasted Chicken! Don’t be intimidated by how hard this may sound, it’s actually extremely easy to make!

Quick and Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Better Than Bouillon is a paste concentrate that is equivalent to broth or a bouillon cube. It can be used to make a stock broth or used as a marinade to add to your favorite dish. Or in my case, it’s used to make the most amazing chicken broth! Better Than Bouillon is different than bouillon cubes that may not dissolve all the way or may taste gritty. In this recipe, Better Than Bouillon quickly transforms to a chicken broth that is bursting with flavors!

You can even enter below to win a $50 Visa Gift Card or a Better Than Bouillon Variety Pack through November 5th.
