When I was growing up, my Mom rubbed her infectious love of sports on my brothers and I. When the Big Games began, my family would spend our nights (and days!) watching the various games. It’s always fun watching an upset happen, especially when it’s against a team you despise. The great thing about this tournament is that it’s unpredictable. Anyone can win any given game. This creates the perfect atmosphere to host your own Big Game party!

The Perfect Big Game Recipe - Crockpot Turkey Chili

Slow cooker meals are always my go-to when we’re hosting parties. This Turkey Chili recipe is so good that everyone will be begging you for the recipe by the end of the game. The Turkey Chili recipe has just the right amount of kick and spice in it. I always keep a can of ice-cold 7UP® in hand to help wash my bowl of chili down.

Beergarita Recipe

When hosting a party for the Big Basketball Game, 7UP should always be a necessity. 7UP can add a kick to your party spread in so many ways. You can use it to make a tasty punch, mixed drinks, cake, cookies or you can use it as the perfect drink to wash down your party foods. My husband prefers to mix his 7UP and I prefer to drink mine in a glass of ice. You can’t go wrong, no matter how you choose to drink or use 7UP. Beergaritas mixed with 7UP is the perfect accomplice to my Turkey Chili recipe.

If you haven’t figured it out already, I absolutely love cooking in my slow cooker. I get to dump a bunch of ingredients and go about my day while my crockpot works it’s magic. When I’m hosting a party for the Big Game, I’d rather be watching the games than cooking, so I love that this recipe has minimal prep by me.

I just got a notification on my Calendar App that my husband took off work on what I thought was a random Friday… and then I realized he took off to watch the March Madness games! Lol! This recipe looks easy to make and tasty – my two favorite things in a recipe. The Beergartia recipe is definitely going into my “Lake Drinks” rotation for this summer too!
