Valentine’s Must Haves for Toddlers

Valentine’s Day is going to be here before we know it!

I’m not even going to lie, one of my favorite things about having a girl is getting to dress her up in the most adorable Holiday attire. It’s also been so much fun introducing Madison to new holidays and celebrations this year. She’s getting to the age where she *kinda* gets that there’s something special going on, which is just a joy for her father and I. Sensory activities like this Edible & Gluten Free Homemade Playdough or Edible Fingerpaints For Babies, are easy to theme towards whatever holiday is coming up. I think Madison and I may make Edible Finger Paints this week with Valentine’s colors!

With each holiday, comes toddler must-haves. Whether you’re still in the market for Valentine’s day or not, I highly recommend checking out these amazing shops!

  1. Valentine’s Day Outfit – A Stitch of Joy

I cannot say enough great things about Denise from A Stitch of Joy! In addition to being super sweet to work with her shop has some of the most adorable outfits I have seen. The quality of the clothing was superb, fashionable and second to none. I seriously cannot get over how cute this Valentine’s Day outfit she sent for Madison is!

A Stitch of Joy includes hundreds of handmade clothing and gift options. The top Denise sent is a onesie that is well made and the colors are vibrant. The Valentine Hearts skirt may be the CUTEST thing I’ve ever seen. Ahh! I even think Madison loved it as much as I did. I even caught her doing a little (uncoordinated) twirl.

Check out A Stitch of Joy on Etsy OR Facebook.

  1. Valentine’s Bow – Isn’t She Lovely

Sarah from Isn’t She Lovely was amazing to work with as well! Just look at her amazingly adorable hairbows! I love holiday themed hairbows, or really just hairbows in general! When I found out we were having a girl it’s one of the first things I bought. Luckily Madison has SO much hair for her age, so we get to play with all kind of fun hairstyles with bows.

Isn’t She Lovely hair bows are the perfect compliment to any Valentine’s Day outfit! This store also sells lovely girls handmade clothing! To check out Isn’t She Lovely for yourself, you find them on Etsy, instagram and facebook.

  1.  Valentine’s Book – Where is Baby’s Valentine?

Madison absolutely loves reading books. Reading to her and showing her colorful pictures is one of the ways she learns.

“Baby made a valentine for Mommy. Where could it be? Is it behind the lamp? No, those are pretty, sparkly flowers! It’s a shiny, glittering delight as you lift the sturdy flaps to help Baby find her very special valentine.”

  1. Stuffed Animal with Valentine’s Day message

A Valentine’s stuffed animal is a great gift for your little one! It can also be a year-round reminder of what Valentine’s Day is.

  1. Valentine Day Stickers

Madison LOVES stickers. She gets one every week after music class and always gets SO excited over it. Some fun Valentine’s Day stickers can help make this holiday a little more fun for our little ones.
